Betfred has launched its first application for the Apple Watch wearable device, in partnership with digital agency Degree 53.
Customers can use the new app to bet on various in-play as well as cash-out any available bets direct from their Apple Watch.
The app launch comes at a busy time for the Apple Watch, with market experts expecting approximately six million of the devices to be sold during the festive period, which would double the total number of sales since the device was first released in April.
“The Apple Watch is set to be this Christmas’ must have present and we’ve been working closely with Betfred to deliver an app that adds real value to their customers,” Degree 53 managing director Andrew Daniels said.
“Cash-out has been this year’s killer feature for bookmakers so it’s great to be able combine these two innovations.”
Stuart Magowan, the manager of Betfred’s mobile portfolio manager, added: “Betfred for Apple Watch is a unique app built for sports betting.
