Sportech has revealed that it has received a number of indicative proposals in regards to The Football Pools business.
NetPlay TV this week confirmed that it had held preliminary talks with Sportech over a potential acquisition of the brand, while the identities of other interested parties have not yet been revealed.
In response, Sportech has confirmed that it is to invite each interested party to submit their best and final proposals by mid-January.
The Sportech board will then consider each proposal and determine whether it is in the “best interests of shareholders to proceed with a sale of the business”.
